Dear APSCE members,
It is my great honour to take on the role of APSCE President. I will do my utmost best to serve our society.
I would like to thank the immediate Past President, Tanja Mitrovic, for her great leadership in the past two years. I hope to be able to continue her good work. My sincere thanks to all Past Presidents, Executive Committee members, secretaries, and APSCE members for all your efforts in contributing to the various aspects of our society. Welcome new members and congratulations to Maria Mercedes T. Rodrigo, our President-Elect. I look forward to working with all of you!
APSCE has grown stronger and stronger since its establishment in 2004 thanks to the efforts of all members of our society. We will build upon the progress and achievements and continue working towards the objectives of APSCE. More specifically, to strengthen the position of APSCE in Asian-Pacific region and internationally and ensure sustainable development of APSCE, we will carry on the good initiative of the APSCE international conference series, strengthen the special interest groups (SIG), and further support our society journal RPTEL. In addition, we will continue nurturing young researchers and promoting them to be future leaders in APSCE and international community. The well-being and sustainable development of APSCE depend on all members of our society. We will continue to promote the Webinar series, reach out to more potential members, and embrace inclusion and diversity.
