Student Question Generation (SQG) pertains to engaging students in the process of reflecting on their recent learning experiences. In this episode of Technology Enhanced Learning, Dr. Fu-Yun Yu talks about the documented effects of SQG on student learning and its value for the implementing teacher. Dr. Yu also shares the design principles they have used to guide the development of their SQG online system and outlines the different takeaways from their SQG research that could be applied in settings where an online learning system is not available.
